We are the community foundation for the Anglican community in Canada.
Mission Statement:
Our sole purpose is to nurture and advance, in Canada, the life and work of the Anglican Church of Canada.
Our Philosophy and Core Values:
We exist to nurture the life of the Anglican Church of Canada by fostering growth of all kinds, promoting worship that is accessible, diverse and enriching as well as giving voice to and empowering people and communities to address social justice issues.
We do a great deal of our work at the grass roots level of the Church as we enter into partnerships with local parishes and dioceses across the Canadian Church. We support local initiatives and ministries where the financial need is greatest.
We are a Christian organization dedicated to the sharing of the good news of Jesus Christ. Education and training for Ministry along with the nurturing of all the faithful, especially those at risk, has always been a central concern.
As faithful stewards we receive, tend and distribute the funds we are given in trust. We manage all funds with great care. All who receive loans and grants through the Foundation are accountable to the Foundation. Financial and fiduciary accountability is established through the Board of Directors to the members of the Corporation.
We strive to practise the Christian virtue of compassion and support grants on compassionate grounds.
We affirm the practice of innovation as we constantly search for emerging issues and challenges for Anglican parishes and other ministries. We look to offer proactive support for new and affirmative initiatives across the Anglican Church of Canada.
