Catholic Apostolic Universal Church Trust Fund

The Catholic Apostolic Trust supports two kinds of projects:

  1. Bursaries for theological students' education and training.
  2. Programs in Anglican aboriginal communities. Programs must have been initiated by aboriginal community(ies)/organization(s) and must involve aboriginal people in the development, planning and implementation.

In terms of the second kind of project, programs must be "to benefit aboriginal peoples within Canada." Applications should indicate these benefits and how they will be achieved by the proposed program.

Programs must be endorsed by an Anglican diocesan bishop and/or the General Secretary of the Anglican Church of Canada on the advice of the national coordinator of indigenous ministries (see the Partnerships department in the staff directory of the Anglican Church of Canada website for name and contact information).

Preference will be given to innovative programs, programs of benefit to large portions of the church, lay training, disadvantaged people and those in urban centres.

The advisory committee meets twice yearly in May and October. The deadline to receive applications for the May meeting is April 1st each year and the deadline to receive applications for the October meeting is September 1st each year.
