Announcing the 2017 RFP Recipients of $15,000 each. Thanks to everyone who submitted proposals in response to AFC’s 60th Anniversary Request for Proposals for the purpose of enhancing and transforming parish ministry within the Anglican Church of Canada!

Good tidings and joy to all our donors! On behalf of the board of directors, we thank you for your gifts and donations during AFC’s 60th anniversary year. You have made it possible to put over $700,000 into vital ministry in Anglican communities across the country.

Creator God, we give thanks for the beauty of our world: for sky, water, air, and earth. Help us to care for our planet every day and to give thanks for all the good things you provide: daily food, rest, play, family, and friends. Amen.

The Anglican Foundation has a long history of providing grants and bursaries to support theological education. It supports students in the traditional divinity programs across the country, and it has also branched out to support atypical programs that meet the changing needs of today’s theological students.

Celebrating the generosity of Canadian Anglicans for 60 years! Imagine That, Children’s Prayers with Hope Bear, new coin boxes, Thanksgiving anthem. Imagine what you could do with $15,000!

O God, on this day when we celebrate the birthday of our country, we give thanks for the majestic beauty of its mountains, lakes, oceans, fields, and hills. Help us to be thankful for our freedom and to share our resources with others. Amen.

The Diocese of Edmonton’s Indigenous Ministries Initiative and Bleeding Heart Art Space collaborated with a number of local partners on a new public art installation, made possible by a grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada.

Regional volunteer-led ministry in Hay River, NT. Accessibility renovations in Pense, SK. A new roof for St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kamloops, BC. We are looking for diocesan partners and representatives.

To mark the AFC’s diamond anniversary, the (in)finite: spiritual conversations in cloth exhibition places the spotlight on the work of textile and fibre artists from across Canada – and it takes a fascinating look at the diverse influences that have set them on their individual paths to spiritual enlightenment.
